Don't see it happening. Cloud isn't a bad fighter by any means, but to beat Hopkins, he had to be willing to just wade through some punches and throw more of his own. He wasn't willing to do that to win. Froch has shown repeatedly that he will do just that if necessary. He's a tougher proposition by far than Cloud and while I don't see Froch stopping Hopkins, I think he'll clearly outwork him and keep Hopkins on the defensive all night.

I expect Froch to beat Kessler. This fight would be perfect for the fall. I just don't see Froch having the ability to track Hopkins down. Froch has slow foot speed and Hopkins is the master at controlling distance. It would be boring as hell but i think X can pull it out. I hope this fight happens.

Hopkins wins through mentality over his opponents who are weak of mind, Froch is very strong minded and so Hopkins would not be able to dominate and control the fight so Froch wins on Points.
But im more interested in watching Clevery V Hopkins.

Froch may nopt knock BHop out but he will definitely retire him. It would be the most one-sided brutal beating of Hopkins life.

Froch is not a weak minded ***** like Pascal or Pavlik. Bhop cant shake him.

You guys forget that Froch actually won a couple of the final rounds vs Ward when Ward began to gas. BHop at age 48 isnt half the athlete Ward is now.

Hopkins would out-maneuver Froch and land clean shots on his dome time and time again. Froch's only shot would be to jump in with a good punch, a leaping right or left, and follow up, but Hopkins would just out-grappled him and re-start in the center of the ring. Froch doesn't have the feints or the speed or the explosiveness necessary to hit BHop flush.

Froch has great resolve, but he has looked somewhat clueless in the ring before out of frustration. Expect to see that again if this fight comes off.
