no this is not for us to discuss a mythical matchup at mw....or super middle weight(we can only discuss mythical ggg 168 matchups against a stoned chavez or a semi retired froch who is 38 ) my question is..... hopkins at age 50...having the ***** to fight kovalev...actually show up and then go 12 rounds with kova vs. gggs career whats more impressive? who wins? i say b hop easily.....i mean....bhops 4 fight streak of tarver(we can stop right here and i think this is more impressive than gggs career), winky, calzaghe and pavlik trumps pretty much anything we could dream of ggg doing in the future
Hey that's cool if u believe that....it's your opinion But the question is ....is Hopkins fighting kovalev....even in a loss....better than anything ggg has done? Imo yes..yes it is
Hopkins made a mistake. He thought Kovalev was a one dimensional puncher like Tito and Palvik. He was painful wrong. He show heart thou
It's kind of a weird question. Is a 12 round virtual shut-out loss at 50 better than 34 wins 31 KOs at 30?
For a hater, anything another boxer has done is better than what Golovkin has done. You can't please the f4ckers.
I think Golovkin would get satisfied with one KD and let Hopkins to save his face and go 12 rounds. They instill respect to elderly in Kazakhstan.
i agree....it is a weird question....but it seems valid....i mean...hopkins has large marbles.....i dunno if ggg has any...he wont take a fight he wouldnt be favored in(ward) and now says he has no interest in canelo under 160 despite saying hed go under 160 for big money fights........ i know...odd question.....but i actually think hopkins going 12 at age 50 with a lhw destroyer is better than anything ggg has accomplished in the pros i think gggs people think beating hopkins mw record is going to raise ggg to legendary status....when its what hopkins did after that which raised him to such status
i love beating his dumb fans down....as for ggg i actually like him and think hes a very good fighter...but his fans are dumb and keep making excuses for him.....so i love to beat them down...and they cant really say much...they try to divert attention elsewhere because they want it to go away.....until ggg grows a set it wont go away
And yet another, "I actually do like GGG....." troll who posts nothing but hate. You a-holes are so transparent.
It's possible, at times, that a loss actually enhances a boxer's resume. Duran v Hagler, Vitali v Lennox, Provodnikov v Bradley etc. Hopkins v Kovalev is NOT such a fight. You can't enhance your resume by losing 12 rounds, getting KD'd, and most likely, getting carried for a good portion of the bout. In Bernard's case, he showed cojones in even taking the fight, but he knew inside the first round that it was a lost cause. BHop is greater than either Kov or GGG, but either one beat him at this point, and without breaking a sweat.
