This doesn't surprise me at all. Hopkins has always turned against his promoters. I figured it was only a matter of time. He must be upset because they want him to retire instead of risking his health against David Haye. There's no one to blame for the inactivity of Hopkins and Mosley. Hopkins turned down fights and Mosley kept trying to get Mayweather and Pacquiao in the ring.

your probably undercover for gbp LOL

The last time hopkins lost was over 15 years ago LOL and even if you gave the other guy the decisions in the 2 split decisions he has had in the past 5 years (in which he was champ for both) then you can hardly say he cannot beat the elites as MANY believed he won those fights hence MANY think the last time he lost was in 93, not to mention destroying pavlik who was the middleweight elite.

He very much still has it and not to worry he will prove it at least one more time before he finishes but even then the blind will not see

I see it differently than a Hopkins fans with rose colored glasses on........I thought he lost both the Taylor fights clearly........and he was clearly outworked by Calzaghe.

Fighters like Hopkins can go on forever winning on just skill, the only problem is that he has to have a fighter in front of him thats not as fast as he is.
.......its the reason why he lost to both Taylor and Calzaghe.......each of them had more speed than he did.

....Which is why I noted Hopkins is not longer elite.
Most of the elites have more quickness and speed than he does.
Why do you think Hopkins has'nt mentioned Chad Dawson.....when Dawson is at the fence barking at him?

Hopkins is no dummy, he knows he has no business taking on Dawson......which is why he's now barking and demanding he get Heavyweight type money to fight Haye........
Richard Shafaer and GBP know that the type of money that Hopkins will be demanding does'nt justify that fight being made, thus the hissy fit Hopkins is currently dishing out.

all three bbc radio judges (uk), a setanta commentator (uk), dan rafael (espn), kevin iole (yahoo), the associated press, one of the judges and many boxing fans scored the fight vs calzaghe for hopkins. even carl froch did LOL.

not a case of rose tinted glasses. many thought bhop beat these guys. makes him UNDEFEATED since 93 in the eyes of many.

I agree that its business and not personal. He dont have the intrigue no more and he cant make mills if the fights aint generating that.

B-Hops got to keep his head up and keep speaking the truth and that way no one can take away his dignity...

I agree man. Hopkins is a great person, even roy jones junior described him as one of the best people he knows (several years ago this was) and i think thats saying something.

Hopkins needs Golden Boy I think. That is great for him and he is great for them. I hope he does not leave them. They help each other.

Some saw him winning, most had him losing. Its really that simple.

If you're one of those that likes to call himself a purist just for the sake of it.......one of those that likes to see a defensive fighter pose and employ stalling tactics.....then you probably had Hopkins winning. However, most dont call those tactics boxing.

.......and hold it, because I'm not saying Hopkins cant box. He clearly can, and quite well I will add.....but he just did'nt do that enough vs Taylor and Calazaghe.

I would agree that Hopkins is a better spokesman than DLH as far as talking about and hyping a GBP fight.

No the many saw him winning did so because he landed most of the significant punches in the fight, thats very clear, and in every report although calzaghe was reported to be busier i.e. moving more, it was hopkins who was landing cleaner harder more damaging shots on his opponent throughout the fight
