Got this out of Stephen Edwards latest mail bag, but evidently it's in discussion maybe for June. Golovkin said he would be willing to step up to 175 with no catch weight.

Hopkins being Hopkins may be willing to go for this due to his history of meeting MW's like Pavlik and Wright at 170, also due to how Hopkins handled Cloud who was trained by Sanchez, and how Golovkin had some issues catching Rosado who trains with Hopkins.

Bad fight for both guys, but it would be a big win for Golovkin considering jumps from 160 to 175 just don't happen in boxing (successfully, with the exception of Hopkins himself)

Would Hopkins be a good boy too?

This was announced days ago, I couldn't believe nobody was talking about it here.

    Interesting fight.

I guess Mayweather vs Ward vs JPrince vs Ellerbe was more exciting. Sounds like black on black crime to me.

Golovkin's punches are too slow to catch Hopkins, would look like the Cloud fight but Golovkin landing a bit more punches, win doesnt do too much for Hopkins because of the weight

If he seriously is jumping from 160 to 175, I would favor Hopkins. I just can't see this happening. That would be a big win for Golovkin... real big.
