I think Hopkins wins, but not without his fair share of difficulties and hardships.

Hopkins on points, if he's not taken out first.

I like the match up for Tommy .. faster, longer reach, harder punch .. I respect Bernard's accomplishments but never really was a huge fan for a myriad of reasons ..

I don't like the match up for Tommy .. I think Hop would know his jab and grab, scrapy inside favors him here and this is where he wants to be ... Now the question is does Hearns land his jab a lot and catch him enough and cleanly coming in ... If Hearns loses his discipline and brawls inside ... it's Bhops fight imo

I feel like this would have been similar to Hopkins vs Kovalev. Hearns had a long reach with a huge punch and also good boxing skills. I think Hearns would have Hopkins moving backwards while also outboxing him on the outside.

Hopkins would smother Tommy every chance he got and mug him inside. Tommy would be dangerous early but Hopkins would ride him out. I'd say Hopkins by stoppage around 6.

it is a tough fight. It depends on Tommy being smart and realizing he will not knock out Hopkins easily. Tommy did his best when he focused on going 12 and worked his jab and counterpunched. If he fought that kind of fight I think he beats Hopkins by decision.

This fight could be a stinker, if Hopkins does what is necessary and gets to Hearns he stops him. If not it'll be a snooze fest
