Quickly, Kovalev is like the big, dominant pup of the litter getting thrown off the porch to face the aging chief alpha dog -- Been there, done that and still wants to fight. There will be some scary moments for Hopkins, but he will weather the storm, make it very dirty and you can expect points being taken off both men be it headbutts, low blows, excessive clinching, etc. Hops will be fully in Kovs head by the 4th to 5th round, frustrating the hell out of him. Hopkins speed advantage will help him but more than anything his ring IQ will see him through this fight. Nothing would surprise me though, hops getting brutally KO'd or Hops ending Kovalev early. But I'm going to go with Hopkins by UD. His craft is just too great for Kovalev, and I don't think Kovalev is prepared to deal with what is coming.
