Not much of a Hopkins fan, but was just thinking you have to give him credit for stepping in with a prime Kovalev! Freaking nuts.
Kov took it easy on Hopkins. Had Bernard mocked him the previous round he would have got stopped. Kov was a great fighter. So skilled.
Agree. Kovalev wasn’t on a seek and destroy mission in that fight. A few times he had Hopkins trapped in a corner and let him out. I respect him for taking it easy on the old man
Bernard Hopkins showed some Big Cajones fighting the likes of Sergey Kovalev, not many fighters wanted to step into the ring with The Crusher, not even Adonis Stevenson.
