if pavlik beats hopkins more convincingly than calzaghe (i dont think calzaghe even won at all) it would logically set up pavlik calzaghe...maybe thats playing into arums thought process

btw i dont think hopkins should be written off the only reason he gassed was because calzaghe sets a frantic pace pavlik doesnt fight at the same fast pace so hopkins lack of stamina might not be so apparent...i like hopkins UD

I could see Hopkins winning the first 5 rounds cleanly, countering the open and slow Pavlik with absolute ease and circling the jab as always. It gets tougher for him in the later rounds, but I can see him pulling out at least a few more, with some messy inside fighting that Pavlik has never dealt with

    Hopkins UD

Whilst your not alone, I dont think a lot of your scoring technique.

Are you a judge by any chance ?

You're a Bernard Hopkins fan but you obviously haven't been following his career. Bernard Hopkins won't ever be stopped, he doesn't get hit cleanly or often enough.

Pavlik could win a UD on workrate just as Joe did, but he isn't knocking out anybody.

This would send Bhop into early.....errrrr...... late retirement. If he gasses like he did against Joe, it ends with an ugly KO by Kelly/

Somebody show me a video of Bernard even looking remotely in trouble or close to being stopped. It doesn't happen.

    Pavlik's isn't knocking out B-Hop.

Nationality has nothing to do with it - look at the punch stats round by round.

Why do people think because Pops hasnt been stopped,it will never happen.
No way pops agrees to this, but it would be like Ali -Holmes if he did,With hops as ali.
Look how gassed and desperate he was against Joe,then add another year on against a younger harder punching prime fighter.
    Hops would get battered.
    This fight wont happen though.

Calzaghe barely squeaked past BHop, and is actively, even aggressively ducking Pavlik. There is absolutely no reason for Pavlik to fight Slappy Joe's cast offs.

:patsch You just compared Pavlik to Holmes.

You also just compared to the Hopkins of today and the Ali of the Holmes fight :patsch

    Slap yourself.

Kelly Pavlik will look as bad as Joe Calzaghe did. I hope this fight happens because it will help put everything into perspective for the Pavlik bandwagon.
