Hopkins vs Steele at MW

    Let's say that Bernard Hopkins and Freddie Steele meet at MW. Just for fun, let's say they meet around 1965 or 1970... Mid-way. So we're talking the rules and regulations, referees, etc of the time.
    Who do you have?

    I haven't watched enough Steele to give a definitive answer, but based on what I've seen, he may well beat Hopkins.

    Steele looks good on the films I have seen, and, looks great on paper. I will go with Steele by close decision.

    A great match between two great fighters. Steele would be a chance against anyone i think.

    Yes, we don't see or read too much about Steele. Hopkins is just about the best MW I'd pick him over.
