    :roflFonfara beats Pascal okay sure whatever. Based on what? Pascal has lost to 3 fighers Hopkins barely, Froch in a close slug fest and Kovalev, Fonfara was outboxed by Campillo, Karpency, Johnson and looked very average against Ngumbo and Cleverly. Stop overrated him just because he did better against Stevenson than most thought he would, have you ever thought that be because Stevenson isn't that good.

    Oh wait so you're saying the Dawson that fought Karpency was shot? So you're doing the same thing I am then aren't you. Dawson looked horrible in beating Hopkins, got KO'd in sparring by Miranda, stopped by Ward he was a shell and Stevenson caught him cold, and the Karpency loss validates the fact that he was a shell when he fought Stevenson a one punch KO doesn't rob you of your boxing skills does it?

    I think we all know why ellerbe the alt loves Stevenson and wishfully thinks he batters Calzaghe victim Hopkins.

    1- He's the same skin colour as ellerbe the alt and ellerbe the alt is a racist :nod

    2- He's got a big willy swinging from his forehead like ellerbe the alt, so ellerbe the alt relates too him :nod

    3- He batters women, and ellerbe the alt hates women because they wouldn't touch him with a 575 ft barge pole :lol::lol: :nod

    Isn't Popkins over 50? I very much doubt that he's going to take on any top guy and win anymore. If he beats Stevenson it would be his greatest victory imho.

    This is how I see it as well. And I DETEST Stevenson. Think he is an overrated goon.

    A few years ago I think Hopkins could have beaten him but not now.

    Hopkins prior to the Kovalev fight had looked good but he was facing far inferior opposition in Shumenov, Murat and Cloud. I wasn't impressed with his performance against Cloud and saw it as being far more competitive than some did. Murat simply isn't any good and Shumenov was tailor made for Bhop. It's easy to look good against weak opposition, I think that hid some of Bhops decline but not all of it.

    Hopkins has declined a lot since the 2 competitive fights he had with Pascal. Stevenson is a better version of Pascal. Like Pascal he fights in spurts and looks to ambush fighters with bursts of activity and counters. But Stevenson is faster, hits harder, moves better and has better technique than Pascal. If Bhop from a few years ago can be pushed by Pascal, this older, slower version loses to Stevenson.

    I still think Bhop can be competitive with Stevenson, I doubt he gets shut out like he did with Kovalev but at this stage a win is a big ask for a 50 year old coming off a big loss and a year of inactivity.

    don't know how much Hopkins has left in the tank. However, Stevenson is a mental midget and is greatly overrated. He runs out of stamina after a few rounds and all he has is a vastly overrated left hand. He is mentally weak unless he is fighting ****scent girls.

    You all love Hopkins until he loses 12-0+1 to a Russian and now you want nothing to do with him. No loyalty whatsoever. :-( Disgraceful really, how you throw a living legend under the bus so easily.

    Most of you probably said Hopkins would school Kovalev pre fight and where are you now to praise the Kovalev schooling?
