Got cold feet when it comes to Adamek.Terrified of actually fighting another true LHW that isnt shot in Dawson.

 

Right...although considering the last five fighters he's faced, I'd say he's due that attitude at this point.

 

It really seems like it. Man Hopkins shouldn't even begin the negotiations with Adamek because now the fight against Tito seems just plain silly.

seriously how can you go from a unbeaten middleweight and lightheavy weight champs kelly pavlik and joe calzaghe to trinidad, nothing to prove

i have to agree completely.
I'm a proud puertorican boxing fan and it's obvious Tito doesn't deserve a rematch and should stay retired. You can't blame Bernard wanting 1 or 2 more big Paydays before he finally closes is Hall of Fame career. A rematch with Roy Jones Jr. obviously makes much more sense but its all about Dollars and Cents at this point.

ps-There should have been Tito vs Golden Boy and Jones Jr. vs Bhop rematchs 10yrs ago, not now.

Only SRL and Holyfield are the ONLY fighters I like more than Tito ALL TIME, but he needs to stop this BS, it is actually getting sad......

He's actually starting to possibly block younger fighters from getting their shot, fighting only on "name recognition.":-( He's actually starting to do the same things I've criticized DLH for. I can see if he was "trying" to be an active fighter, but he hasn't fought in 1 1/2 yearsatsch

Dawson has been calling him for a while now. Williams could have been "ok" but Tito?!

And don't come with that bs excuse of "He's already proven himself, so he doesn't need to fight top guys." Yeah if he won't fight the top guys in his division, then just retire.

 

totally agree. fans should not support this fight as it's pointless given that tito hasn't had a good showing in a few years. we all saw what happens when semi retired tito fights around 170 and takes on bigger active fighters (even past prime ones) when he got a one sided loss versus jones. why would this fight not be even more one sided? hopefully the fight falls through or doesn't do good numbers. tito could've been making good money on his name over the past couple of years by fighting guys he could actually beat at lower weights.

 

I said he got cold feet and i stand behind my words.Lowballing and not even attempting to up the offer than going on to say its Adamek's and Main Events fault only to go on and say it's nobodies fault in another interview.

He must have watched other footage from previous Adamek fights and realised he doesnt fight the way he did for the first 5 rounds of Banks fight in every fight.

He is also terrified of fighting Dawson which is clear as day.Smoke and Mirrors as the "LHW Champ"

Why dont Jones and Hopkins just have a "Farewell to the legends" fight and both call it a day after?? it would be a big fight and would be entertaining, nobody wants to see a lightheavyweight beat up on a fat shot welterweight again.
