lol what are you talking about. That overhand right is the same one that every true power puncher has, the one that Hopkins has had from the very begining.

Like a tennis serve, over the top and then snap down.

There was nothing that Hopkins did to Tito that reminded me of Jones ..Hopkins like people said earlier beat him mentally then exploided his weaknesses ..Tito was to small for the division but no one thought Hopkins would have done that Tito at the time ..Myself included ..

exacly they never belonged there, what i mostly see is the usual dive in with my head and hit him begind the ear technique, i mean look at titos body it looked terrible, it looked like you could make 50 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches out of his abdomen. tito should have requested a catchweight but still delahoya and tito wouldn't have beat him, hopkins structure is too big, why else did he fit well in super middle and light heavy today... no one has really hurt hopkins bad but i saw a left hook that landed on hopkins by tito that made him do a lap around the whole ring.... theres alot of one dimensional fighters correct, but you must name physical and boxing attributes to that, and the truth, tito had the speed and movement to deal with hopkins, but at 160 he never had the power and structure, and built. he didnt even take the right amount of time to gain the weight properly. tito with a bigger structure whips hopkins all day, but he never belonged above 154lbs thats so noticeable that it should be considered a fact.

i love trinidad, but hopkins still would of beat him in this fashion. moving off the back foot making trinidad come forward, not allowing him to set his feet were the perfect tactics to beat tito. it was a great performance from bernard that night, though a little sad considering trinidad is one of my favorite fighters. he had his soul taken from him.

go and find a picture of the weigh in for trinidad vs joppy. tito looked ripped to hell. but yeah, he did look a little podgy when he stepped into the ring. maybe he liked his burgers before the fight.

oh yeah he always looked ripped but the man was like a stick trinidad is the perfect fit for a nickname like a more modern Flaco explosivo, he had the height and conditioning, actually one of the best conditions ever BUT.. not the structure, his back, weist, shoulders, weren't as wide you know, when he went above weight he just looked fat and jellyish. to me he never belonged there and didn't go up the weight the right way. but he did have some mean freakish power, lol. but i dont hate on any fighter and respect hopkins skills but still the man was dirtier than ric flair and a trashcan.

and i also was so happy to the results of joppy vs tito... i hated joppy's cockyness in trying to KO duran, talking about "aint no old man gonna beat me" what the hell how old was duran? he knew duran wsn't in the level of fighting any world class fighters and yet he comes at duran with this and all proud. when tito sat his ass down i was like aaaaaahhh payback is indeed a biiatch.

yeah trinidad was the favourite going into the fight from memory.

i remember the boxing news predicted hopkins to win.

and i was surprised at that cos i'd never seen hopkins fight before.

hopkins fights never got shown in the uk.

and neither did any of that middleweight tournament. :patsch

in retrospect de la hoya did show tito's limitations though.

hopkins just put the stamp on it. :bbb
