Hopkins want Bute after Pascal

Would be a good fight, I really rate Bute. I would like to see him against Froch it would be a good fight and I'd put money on him winning that one. The is still a greeness about him that Hopkins could take advantage of though.

 

Ah ok I forgot that nobody can land shots on Hopkins... Against Hopkins, Bute cannot throw these kind of shots... Plus, it's not like Popkins went down two times vs Pascal huh? atsch And Andrade has such a glass jaw...

Of course it's possible. But, you have to understand that Hopkins is a boxing genius with one of the bests defense in the business. Andrade is predictable like an open book with a horrible defense.

 

Pascal is an instinctive awkward fighter with good speed. That's why he knocked down Hopkins two times.

 

Yet, if he tries to bullrush Bute with his head down trying to headbutt, it will open him to a Bute back step and counter uppercut or body shot... Bute is younger and faster than Hopkins, he can counter well, and his punches are short, straight, precise and pack some power...

 

I am a fan of Hopkins and respect Bute so it would be an interesting matchup. One I would like to see more is Bute against the S6 winner but that will be who knows when. That tournament would've been over sooner had it not been for those delays. Bute-Pascal would be nice too. I really want Bute to step it up in '11 before I commit to being a fan.

 

How can you be so sure? He may be the best, but he never fought someone with a jab, skills, speed or boxing IQ. He's an unknown quantity. He looks pretty impressive against brawlers. That's all we know my friend.
