You are out of your ****ing mind! I like Adamek a lot, and was absolutely thrilled by his performance last night, but Hopkins would pose all kinds of problems for Adamek.

I hope that fight does not happen.

At Hopkins age I would not bet against anyone whom he fights.

Adamek might be a little too big and a little too young for Hopkins.

I'd pick Hopkins to get his a** kicked again by another superior "robotic white boy."

Perhaps I exaggerated slightly ;) But I do believe that size and the ability to take a punch would be the decisive factors in this fight. From that point of view, it's not clear at all how well BHOP would carry all the extra weight and how well he can take a CW punch...

So I really hope this fight happens. Win or loose, Adamek is slowly developing a reputation of someone who jumps at challenges and this fight could only enhance it (and would help put his skills in perspective)!

this would be the worst move for Hopkins. A win against Adamek doesen't prove anything, a win against Dawson does, or against Kessler.

I'd rather see Adamek rematch Dawson and Hopkins rematch Calzaghe.

Honestly, I am a big time Adamek fan, and I don't like the idea of Adamek fighting Hopkins one bit.

It would give him a belt at another weight class against the man at age 44. It would certainly be viewed as a HUGE win.

    I like, I like.

I HATE when Hopkins fights at catchweights against fighters coming up in weight. I respect him for this.

Whether he can take a CW punch won't really be a factor.

Hopkins doesn't really take clean punches, so the power will be irrelevant.

If Pavlik can catch him a few time, I have no doubt in my mind that Adamek will test him also.

I'd rather see Dawson fight Calzaghe and Adamek fight Hopkins ;)

What do you not like about Adamek fighting Hopkins at CW, Rums? It's a challenging fight for both and exciting for the fans - as far as Hopkin's fights can be exciting, that is. One of the two will most likely loose, but there's no shame in that when you're fighting a good opponent... So, whatever the outcome, everybody's a winner in the end :good

It would be a great victory for Hopkins. He would have been the Undisputed Middleweight, Lt Heavyweight and Cruiserweight Champ.

Top 40 All Time, maybe top 30.

You make a good point. I just think this is a bad match-up for Adamek. I'd even rather see Calzaghe-Adamek and Hopkins-Dawson.

It would be great for Hopkins legacy wise. And i KNOW he's worried about his legacy. And i know he would easily handle Adamek and his 1-2 style. All Hopkins has to do is come in around 190. As a fan of him, i actually hope he takes this one. Low risk, high reward.
