What kind of problems? I agree his defence is still far from brilliant, but with his chin (and Hopkins workrate) it shouldn't be decisive factor.
That's when it becomes a problem. But Adamek's the same height, has the same reach and up until recently was the same weight as Hopkins. This is no big man vs small man scenario. Whereas Wlad would squash Hopkins.
I lean toward homkins in this one, being that adamak is by no means a master at footwork and defensive movement and b hop has a chin
Hopkins may be toothless, but I don't think he's a racist and I don't think Adamek would provide him with an especially big payday.
Yeah, Adamek is not a big pay day but this is a fight that will noticeably enhance his legacy. Winning The Ring and IBF CW belts to resume.
It's a strange one for Hopkins. Can't see huge money in it. The belts look good, at cruiser, on paper it looks good. But we know its not like moving up and beating Evander Holyfield, or even David Haye. Adamek is a small cruiser that is made for Hopkins. I guess its a small risk for an okay reward legacy wise.
Correction: The white boy you're referring to is not robotic, he's actually very fast and awkward. Also, he did not kick his ass, he barely scraped an SD over Hops, getting knocked down in the process. Anyway your post doesn't make sense you're just a pure hater. How does Hopkins get raped, please explain. You ever see him take a clean hit? Hopkins UD12 :rasta
when did he get his arsekicked by a robotic white boy? i do remember some welsh *** arguably outpointing him but other than that? in all seriousness, hopkins adamek would be a good fight
Persistent usage of arguments related to skin color - such as the derogatory 'white boy' comment - typically characterizes racists... So what makes you think he is not one?
The one thing that Bhop did in that fight was land a lucky punch in round one. The fact that Adalaide Byrd has well documented eye-sight problems doesn't make this a close fight mr. zicas. That really hurt :| - try some arguments next time. I think you've got the wrong address buddy. This is a boxing forum and not one devoted to male-****-fantasies.... So, much as I'd like to keep you happy, I'll be unable to oblige on this one.
That was fight hype, nothing more. Actions speak louder than words. For me, the very touching story regarding Shaun Negler more than vindicates Hopkins in my eyes. That story is as heart-warming a story as any I had ever heard, and shows what a class act Hopkins really is.
