Respect to what he said near the end. But ol popkins will get crushed if this fight happens, in a way I feel the winner of Jones-Trinidad will make a better fight for Joe. This video also tells us that Bhop is a virtual non-entity now in the sport by saying if he doesnt fight Joe then he probably won't fight again..Thats one boring fighter out of the way now only if Ricky could pummel PBF into retirement..:think
hopkins will win period im 100% sure. much respect to 50-Cal but he is very wild at times and often off balance...even in his dominating performance agasint Kessler
yeah right...maybe 2 times a round he gets sloppy and Hopkins can land a punch or 2,whats he gonna do for the other 2.57 of the round, hope Calzaghe forgets to throw his punches?.
didnt say sloppy but wild and off balance...im not saying Cal sucks or nuttin but he is wild at times and is off balance at times.....Hopkins will win if the fight is made.
i know what your saying but he only does that when he thinks he can get away with it trust me B-hop loses this fight well at least in my opinion
a respectable opinion it wouldnt be a shock if Cal won to me but i think Hop can get him.....to be honest i think Hop will institute a fight plan similar to Wright.....A LOT OF HOLDING and smothering of Cal's punches....so he can't use that speed.
no doubt HOP got the skills to do that but Winky isn't JC JC keep throwing punches there fore it will be harder for hop's to imploy these tactics he will be getting hit as he trys to hold and grab i think b- hop will be forced to fight and revert to the old b-HOP he's a philly fighter he wont stand to be hit and not hit back and this will play right into JC hands
At the end of the day, Joe has too much for Bernie. The fact is that Hopkins will not be able to KO Calzaghe and it's unlikely that JC will stop BH. So there's about a 75% probability that it will be decided via the scorecards. Everyone knows what JC brings to the fight: high punch output, fantastic boxing skills, great footwork, good chin, decent power, exceptional fitness. What intrigues me is Hopkins ring nous and his ability to throw a solid lead right. Joe won't be able to throw as many punches as normal but still poses problems that Hopkins hasn't faced for several years. Hopkins will have his moments but Joe is a level above Bernie at this stage of their careers. Joe Calzaghe UD12.
Hopkins even at this point will beat Calzaghe...Hopkins has enough guile to outsmart Calzaghe, whose speed is not what it once was...if Calzaghe wins, you'll get no "but Hopkins is damn near 50!" from me, because Hopkins is still good enough to compete with elites...but i see Hopkins pulling it out, IF Calzaghe brings his ass here for once and not hide in Wales...
