If this happens, I bet on Green. Decision based on workrate or the ref stops the fight. He is a good fighter with heavy hands and he will train hard and fight every minute of every round. Hopkins is 44 now, he's gonna get old in the ring some time and Danny Green in front of a home crowd of raging Aussies is the man to do it.

Green is boxing's answer to Randy Orton...Dont be surprised if you see Danny win via wheelbarrow suplex in the 4th round.

Like he did with Joe C?

I don't think he cares who he fights now, so long as it brings in the dollars. Black, white or even aquamarine coloured - he's fight them for the dollars.

Hopkins has paid his dues in the Sport. He dont need to fight Dawson or Bute, what the **** would he prove??
The Green fight is not necessary either but it makes business sense. RJJ was a spent force before the fight but the fact that a man like D Green violated him says alot. Hopkins going over the AUS would create massive interest across the board. Its makes a change that other countries get some coverage apart from the USA. Why the hell not shouldn't Hopkins go over there and make a ton of money???!!!

He should fight Green. His legacy is secure now. If Green stops Hopkins he will look like a huge puncher, which I guess he would be. I was not sold on his power before, but now I am and that will prove it even more. One thing Green does well is hit on the top of the head, and even a guy with good defense like Hopkins, if a guy is aggressive like Green, he can hit him on the top of his head and shake Hopkin's equilibrium. So it will be interesting, but in all likelyhood Hopkins will win rounds and stop Green on cuts or swelling in the late rounds. It would be a nice win for Hopkins.

Doesn't make much sense. Beating Green and winning a nothing belt won't add much, if anything, to Hopkins' legacy. I'd rather seem him fight someone like Dawson or Adamek.

Not many people had even heard of Green until recently. And I don't like this new trend of calling an IBO belt a "world championship".

The best thing I can say about this fight is, it makes more sense that fighting Jones, but that really isn't saying much, because Jones-Hopkins 2 would make NO sense at all.
