HOPKINS wants GGG in 2015 just said it smh

GGG would brutalise him, his got a lot more of a solid chin than Kovalev and won't be anyway defensive.

He will bring the overwhelming workrate of Joe Calzaghe and the power of Kovalev, its a recipe for brain damage for hopkins

 

GGG is more skilled and harder hitting than Kovalev .. why would anyone want Hopkins to see him fight?

 

if he had 100% of what he had in the pavlik fight he still would of lost to kovalev.
but he would find GGG easier to hit and manhandle. he would need 80-90% which he aint got no more.

I agree with this. Kovalev beats any version of Bhop at LHW. Too big too strong.

 

Kovalev was also the same height and looked very rangy vs hopkins, not to mention the strength difference.
GGG would concede range and about 3inches height, GGG wins but hopkins would make it more competitve.

 

No, kovalev is a better puncher than hopkins. not just power but technique, variation and combinations and output. hopkins just doesnt have what it takes to beat kovalev at Lhw because he hasnt got the punch in any form you want it. its as simple as that.

 

Call me when Triple Duck shuts out someone on Hopkins' level or KOs Light Heavyweights...

 

Im honestly going to tell you hopkins at 175lbs would never, ever beat sergey kovalev. i dont care about anyones nostalgic thoughts.
