It was just mind games, if he really wanted him to take a blood test he'd have asked for it before the fight was signed and sealed.

And Hopkins was right. Why would he allow a fighter, like his self, introduce new rules for one fight?, let the commission do their job while fighters do theirs.

I wouldnt be shocked if Hopkins took something like i wouldnt doubt most of my favorite pro athletes too

I do think most of this take the test **** is just mental

if you have to ask your opponent to take a test it reveals a shadow of doubt in your mind that you cannot defeat your opponent

It's more a psychological advantage than anything.

Besides that, I honestly do believe that in some way or form it could be draining blood out of opponents. Certain people react different to certain tests than others, that's just how it is. Not all people react the same to blood tests as soon as they're taken, some faint, get drowsy, feel weak and so forth.

I don't think it has anything to do with not believing he can't beat the opponent. I believe Mayweather got the tests done to Mosley and Ortiz, did he believe he can't beat them?, I don't think so. Cotto is getting tested too, I don't think he believes he can't beat Cotto either.

i'd be lying if i said b-hop being on peds wouldn't make perfect sense but i figure the majority of the best athletes in the world are using some sort of peds in this day and age anyways, especially in sports like boxing where the tests are so slack.... don't matter though b-hops the troof and everyone else is proly juicing anyways so **** it
