the wise old fox is in supreme consdition and has never ever been kod out cold or really beaten up like a cotto or gatti not even remotely ,its my belief as a former fighter that these are the reasons he can still perform like a 27 year old man ,hopkins can fight till hes 55 if he wants afterall roberto duran fought till almost that age and never took care of himself even pacquiao has vices roach admitted ,drinking beer, gambling,**** fighting which is sick imo.hopkins will school pascal as a counterpuncher and also dawson if they meet id love to see hopkins v haye at heavyweight and break foremans age record.i love bhop as hell fight any1 anytime ,proper fighter with balls real machismo like duran unlike racist woman beater kentucky floyd chicken !!!!!!!!

Unless Pascal comes into the fight without a solid gameplan and stands right in front of Hopkins without throwing punches,i dont see your prediction happening.

I see this fight being close and kinda ugly.

Check his 2 last fights. Then, go watch some of his fights when he was 27. If you still think he fights like a 27 years old, you're plain dumb.

The Hopkins of right now is not the same Hopkins who fought Pavlik. Physical decline is rapid when you get to your mid 40s. Hopkins's stamina was dire in the Jones fight. Although B-Hop has more boxing ability in his big toe than Jean Pascal has in his whole body, I still think Pascal is going to win. I don't believe Bernard can last 12 fast-paced rounds with a strong, determined opponent anymore. I think this is a very bad decision by B-Hop.

Indeed, those reflecting to the B-Hop/Pavlik fight, Pavlik was overrated anyway and could only do good against Espinos, Locketts and Rub(bish)ios!! Beating up a Taylor who made crappy defences as a MW champ and was gifted against Wright... That stationary robot Pavlik double ****ed up more then he doubled up the ****ing jab!!

Hopkins has nothing to lose at this point though. He loses, everyone is going to say, 'He was supposed to lose because his age has caught up with him', etc. But if he wins, it gives him an excuse to carry on...

pops, i agree with everything you said but the last sentence. because of everything preceding that last sentence, i think that if its a bad decision for anyone, its a bad decision for pascal. if he wins he beat what you previously described. if he loses, which could happen....then he lost to what you previously described. we'll see though. i would have liked to have seen him in there with bute or even dawson again...cloud maybe. i think pascal will be too much but you never know with hops. he could pull this out.

He'll beat Pascal worse than Kelly because Jean has nothing for him to fear.

Leave Floyd outta' this...at least he doesn't eat dogs and use steroids.

The version of B-Hop against Joppy maybe but today's "rolling over from pain acting B-Hop", I don't buy it...

If he beats Pascal, he should stare me down like he did to the press, then I'll buy it!!

C'mon I'm a hardcore Hopkins fan but I gotta admit this is ridiculous. Pascal is no slow-footed, predictable, "can't move backwards" kind of fighter. This is a big test for Hopkins and if he prevails he is the GOAT.

*Just kidding about him becoming the GOAT but it would be a big upset if he wins. Hopkins has a knack for winning when he's not suppose to.*

Hopkins looked like **** his last two fights. He isnt the guy who fought Pavlik and Tarver anymore. And hell Pascal is a way better fighter than Pavlik especially at the higher weights. Bhop will loose, its just a matter of how badly he will loose. He had to fight really dirty to keep up with Roy Jones and you know how **** Jones is these days.

At best Hopkins uses all his tricks and lots of holding to make it an ugly fight without being hurt and winning a few rounds. At worse Hopkins gets dominated by the younger guy and takes too many shots.

I find Pascal very predictable. And I love how everyone is saying how Hopkins has stamina problems. So does Pascal, his stamina is one of his biggest weaknesses.
