He isn't the guy who fought Tarver, agreed!! But he is still the guy who fought Pavlik. Pavlik was no good to begin with, his plodding walk-you-over-style only favoured B-Hop and made him look good. Together with the fact that Kelly was (strangely) on the P4P list, it made him even more taylormade for B-Hop, and make the win even more credible

You are right: stamina is one of Pascal's biggest weaknesses. Guess what? It won't matter at all against Hopkins, because the old man has an even worse stamina.

Hopkins can win the fight, but it will likely go to the cards & I dont see Bhop winning the fight unless it is a beating similar to KP.

 

I agree...they say every great fighter has one last GREAT fight, and Pavlik was that last great fight. He may make Pascal stuggle, but lighting isn't striking twice.

 

The only Pascal fight I have seen is the Froch one but he gased in that fight. I actually thoght he was going to win. I think this one will be a good fight B-Hop is always the under dog and is still good enough to maybe get an upset imo.

No, no, no. Pascal throws wild shots that aren't easy to predict and he can fight as more of a boxer or a slugger but naturally it's his slugger side that comes out of nowhere alot of times in his fights. He is pretty unpredictable and not an easy puzzle to figure out.

Pascal always plays possum. His stamina isn't as bad as people make it.

What do you base this on? Style wise they are night and day. Pascal brings pretty much every aspect to the table that Bernard has had trouble with his entire career.

 

I think this is an untrue statement. although pascal has a different style to kp he does not have a bad style for b-hop judging by the froch fight and all the clips i've seen on the net pascal is a messy counter puncher/sluger and i think hopkins only struggle's with the in and out high work rate style. i'm not getting too exited about pascal yet since his one big win is against a guy who is inconsistant imo.
