No, this will be another sloppy loss that will give Hopkins a lot of ammo to claim he should have won. I wish I could believe Pavlik would belt him into tomorrow, but he'll find himself stuggling to overcome Hopkins' smothering/faux-fighting style he's been using the last few years. Close UD win for Kelly.

this is bad for pav...why on earth did he take this fight? the worst thing for boxing is if hopkins wins and calzaghe beats rjj b/c that would mean we would have to suffer through another hopkins calzaghe fight.

i like pavlik (a lot) and want him to win but i don't think he can win this either

Arum can go walk into oncoming traffic as far as I'm concerned

Pavlik will never be half the fighter Hopkins is. Prime Hopkins against today's Pavlik = shutout and then a 9th round knockout. Today Pavlik has a chance becuse of Bernard's lack of workrate but 170 was a bad idea for Pavlik: Hopkins will have improved stamina (he is too big and muscled at 175) and Pavlik isn't a puncher at 166, let alone 170.
B-hop UD, unless the judges screw him.

Pavlik will outwork Hopkins just as Calzaghe did only his punches will land with more authority which should mean a wider decision win for Kelly than Calz.
I think a KO is unlikely either way and I can't see Hopkins landing more punches than an aggressive fighter like Pavlik.

Pavlik will box from the outside, beat seven shades of **** out of BHop, and by the 10th or 11th round, mow him down.
