You can tell from the force, snap, and technique of his shots that he has very good power. NO power? Give me a break

This all comes back to your bull**** about competition. You don't knock out 29 guys if you have no power, end of story

It doesn't really take a genius to work this out. By your logic, Kermit Cintron has absolutely no power because he's never knocked anybody of any note out

I know this ****s keep talking about Calzaghe can punch. Can punch harder at 175 etc etc and all this obvious bull****. But what good boxer has he stopped? He needs to land about a million punches to do damage. He gave Lacy his best punches and could not even stop him from coming forward. Calzaghe has no force snap and does not even turn his punches. He may get a good shot under the chin when he is wailing away but that is based on the guy not seeing it coming. Not real power.

    Are you serious?

    Mikkel Kessler
    Chris Eubank
    Jeff Lacy
    Robin Reid
    Mario Veit
    Richie Woodhall
    Byron Mitchell
    Charles Brewer

    None of them are bums

It's not irrelevant, but sorry, I'm not the one making a ludicrous claim here. I'm not claiming he punches like Tyson, only that he has very respectable power

And yes, you can get an idea of power from the technique and snap behind the shots

Now answer my question. Is Kermit Cintron feather fisted?

Like TFFP asked, do you consider Kermit Cintron a weak puncher since his best T/KO victims are Walter Mathysse, Jesse Feliciano, and David Estrada?

There are fighters out there with 30 wins 28 by the way of KO. Does that mean anything....****kk no. Paul Williams is 33 and 24 kos. Can he punch...no...Joel Julio 32 30kos. I can go on for ****ing ever. We seen him fight. We know he cant throw proper punch. He can only barrage for a stoppage. Tell Calzaghe knock out a good fighter. If he can.

So what are you basing that on?

Don't tell me it's competition, because that guy has fought cab drivers

It must be either his KO ratio, or the snap behind his punches, which you were completely writing off earlier

Hopkins is undefeated against southpaws and that will still be the case after this fight. Calzaghe won't be as fast at LHV, nor will he be able to out-craft Hopkins like he did Kessler. Hopkins will counter effectively, land the cleaner shots and have Calzaghe confused, most likely scoring a flash knockdown with a straight right counter (similar to the one he landed on Tarver) winning with a score of about 116-111.
