Roy Jones is one of my favorite fighters of all-time but he is a spent fighter. That being said i got Hopkins winning the fight possibly by knock-out.

Now Hopkins vs Haye will be the next good fight for the executioner.
At this stage in his career i think Hopkins can still pull of the victory over Haye. To cerebral, great coach, just a master boxer. :good

i'll wait and see what mackie can do with bernard in prep for the fight before i make a pick. haye is at 220+ right now which is the heaviest he's been for a fight. i'll also wait to see how he looks with the additional weight.

Ok wise guy. i meant after Ruiz (which is tomarrow) and a given win, he has to fight valuev due to the contract he signed with sauderland........

Dont you feel like an idiot now?? Trying to act like a smart guy, and now the **** has blown up in your face???

    Its ok i forgive you:good

    Thanks.

Wasnt sure you knew he was fighting Ruiz next and not Valuev. No worries.

  11. I really can't picture this fight ending any other way than a brutal KO for Haye. Hopkins never had great power even for his size, so he's not going to be able to get the respect of a HW.

Haye will walk through anything Hopkins has to offer and Hopkins would probably leave the fight on a stretcher with severe head trauma.

That is not what the sisters wanted. They actually wanted some bull**** where he would have to fight the other brother or some **** like that.

I smell the bullsh!t from both sides. Haye knows he might get his chin checked if either brother connects and both brothers fear the might be exposed by the undoubtably faster and more explosive fighter. Haye made a name for himself simply by playing the game and it was no surprise that when negotiations fell apart Haye's was the name on many pundits lips as being the man to watch, explaining his quick sidestep to fight Shrek ahead of more experienced competition whilst the brothers went back to fighting fairly frigid 'competition'.

They'll all run around in ever decreasing circles until either they face each other or retire.

All that said I honestly believe Hopkins might be able to edge past Haye on a points decision. It would certainly be a gamble for Hopkins though considering he's never been down - can he take a heavyweight's punch? I guess if he feels Roy can do it then he can do it and possibly against better competition all despite being far older.
