I can't see Hopkins winning but I can see him turning it into an ugly fight and perhaps by holding and pulling kovalev down with him suddenly be injured and unable to continue

 

Hopkins will win easily, i've never been more sure of anything.

Kovalev is all hype, he has beat nobody, has no technique, is flat footed and slow.

Predictable as they come, and by his own admission he never has a gameplan, he just tries to hurt his opponents.

thing is, kovalev is so damn SLOW!....the definition of a plodder. And his stamina is questionable too. I just don't see hopkins having too many problems with him. He may have a big punch, but look how easy agnew avoided his shots....and this is AGNEW...a guy who is the definition of a nonentity. Hopkins is 50, but he's still slick. he'll give kovalev movement in the early rounds and gradually come on in the latter rounds...hopkins is not spectacular.....he's methodical. he'll steal rounds with eye-catching combos and bring it home down the stretch while kovalev is wearing down.
