Hopkins will seek fight with Froch?

Do you think Hopkins will seek a fight with Froch as a way of redemption? After Kelly Pavlik KOed taylor then clearly beat him in the second fight, Hopkins needed to beat Pavlik as a way to avenge his loss to Taylor. Now that Froch has KOed Taylor (similar to the same way Pavlik did in the sense that he was down on the scorecards), do you think a fight with Froch has struck the mind of BHop? Personally, I think he should fight Dawson at LHW, but if not then I think a fight with Froch would be good (definately better than a fight with Trinidad). What do you guys think?
Oh yea, if the fight does happen, I pick BHop by wide UD.

True, doubt taylor would take it tho. All he would say is he already beat him twice, even though those wins were controversial and he shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence as Hopkins.

Bernard Hopkins is a legend in his own right, he has nothing to prove, and he certainly doesn't need "redemption".... and even if he DID somehow need redemption it wouldn't come from winning a fight against Carl Froch.

Agreed, B-HOP has nothing to prove, except for maybe winning a rematch against Calzaghe (a fight which will never happen). Pavlik beating Froch doesn't vindicate his loss to B-HOP either since even though he could beat the man who beat the man, Taylor's "wins" against B-HOP don't hold much weight in most boxing circles. I think Chad Dawson vs Froch would be nice, but Froch doesn't quit and Dawson has been known to gas down the stretch.

Thats probably what would happen, and if those fights were at 168 or 170 lbs Hopkins would have won UD 12. Those 2 losses to Taylor can partially be contributed to weight drain I believe.

the one sided beat down he gave Pavlik kind of gave him that somewhat ..

But Froch vs Hopkins would be a massacre the Executioner would pick the Cobra apart ..

Certainly makes more sense then a rematch with Tito, but probably doesn't make as many dollars..depends on what Hopkins is looking for at this point..a fight with Froch or a big money guaranteed win over Trinidad...I hope for just about anything except the Tito rematch...
