They surprised me too. Mostly because they both looked like delayed reactions where his feet just kinda gave out but he wasn't really that hurt either time. Not sure what to make of that but if I saw that happen to a relative of mine I'd be having him consult his friendly neighborhood neurologist rather then stepping back into the ring. It might not mean much....but I'm actually a little worried for the guy. Then again its not like we have too many other examples of 46 year old's in the ring so it might not mean ****. We'll see.

As far as his conditioning Pascal had said he had done some new things in training last time round but this time round he's said he's gone back to the way he used to train. I can't really remember the specifics though.

I agree, he just has to avoid knockdowns and losing almost half of the rounds.:patsch

Jean will have to pick his shots and not load up so much ..But the key to beating Hopkins is to out hustle him so he will have to be more selective

Hopkins cannot school Pascal from the beginning of the fight because he is too slow now. He has to hit Pascal to the body for some rounds in order to slow him down. If Pascal manages to block those body punches, Hopkins is in trouble.

It's not a question of abilities. In that department, Hopkins is way beyond Pascal. It's a question of energy and speed.

+1 Hopkins' balance could be even worse than in the December fight.

I think its part of the key to any fight. Pascal has to box more then just try to blow his head off, yes. But there is going to be plenty of close rounds and keeping yourself in contention to win a few of them by out hustling the other guy in clinches is never a bad thing. It could prove to be big in this fight too because it's going to be close.

I don't even know if I'd call that balance b/c the rest of the fight he had great balance. I'd more call it a soft spot or something.

Pascal has 4 round stamina, after that hopkins will dominate him, so the first 4 rounds he needs to damage hopkins or take him out, We will see what happens then ,but after that when his stamina drops from the remaining 7 rounds hopkins will probably put 5/6 clearly in the bag. With that in mind I will bet on hopkins via decision with a small bet on a draw.
