10 years ago this would have been interesting.

Right now I don't believe Hopkins has anywhere near the work rate necessary to fight Joe.

Joe has fast hands and throws about 90-100 punches a round. Noway Hopkins can keep up with that at his age.

Joe C by a clear UD.

Goat boy lose so yes it was a good fight. It was great watching a middleweight outbox Peter in there first fight. Lights Out Toney schooled his goathearding ass.

What annoys me is all these people who say Hopkins is going to kick Calzaghe ass, will after April 19th, say how Hopkins was too old, huge fickle fans. When Joe batterd Lacy, you all said Lacy was ****, but before the fight, you all thought Lacy was the future of American Boxing. Idiots.

First off I don't know who thought Lacy was the future of American boxing if they did then hell yeah they were idiots !! Other than work rate Joe doesn't have enough pop to hurt Hops ..Also lets not forget that Hops before losing 2 razor thin decisons to JT hadn't lost a fight in over 10 + yrs and that was to Roy Jones !!

This fight by no means will be easy for both ..Because Hops is smart enough to devise a stragedy to nuetralize Calzaghe's speed ..And Joe is busy enough to keep Bernard guessing ..When you look at all the scenerios at the end of the day its a pick em fight ..Lets also not forget this is Joe's first fight at Lt Heavy !!

Calzaghe looked good fighting nobodies so far in his career. It will be the reality check for him.

True, but Joe has a hard time making 168. 175 will be easier, and I think he'll be better and hit harder at LHW without losing his speed. He walks around @ 185, or thereabouts.

I think no diffent than Hopkins when he moved up Joe will also carry more power ..What intrigues me about this fight is that you will have two technicians going after each other !!

Are we getting a 24/7 for these 2 or what ????

I hope so. Some say Joe lacks personality but I disagree.

Although I picked Lacy over Calzaghe he was never the future of American boxing.:nono I picked Lacy in that fight because up until that point I had never seen Calzaghe fight only heard he always pulled out of fights with hand poblems but if I had I wouldn't have picked Lacy to beat him.
