I think hopkins win is BY FAR, the most amazing accomplishment by anyone in history of sports...I think comparing Foreman's win over moorer is a joke compared to this.

Kelly Pavlik is at the peak of his career at 26 years old. Kelly Pavlik was top 5 p4p. Kelly Pavlik was universally known as the best middleweight. Bernard Hopkins is 43 years old. Bernard Hopkins was faster, quicker, smarter, more agile than this 26 year old white hope.

Foreman's regaining of the title tops the list easily in my opinion.

nah, I think Foreman's is more impressive. He retained his power and had more ringsmarts, and was coming off a long, long lay-off.

B-Hop is always in shape and Pavlik was coming up in weight. Still the best win of B-Hop's career, to beat a top 5 P4P at nearly 44 years of age is some achievement. To win a near-shutout (winning every round in most people's eyes) is nothing short of amazing.

I actually think B-Hop's footwork, movement and savvy stopped Pavlik throwing punches. We all thought Hopkins would make it hard whilst Pavlik was pressuring him, we didn't realise it would be to the extent Pavlik couldn't really throw anything, couldn't plant his feet.

I'm sure he'll blame the elbow now? Oh, well, I will be able to say I watched it live.

Still, Foreman's win is a superior achievement. It's cinematic.

No, the biggest achievement by any 40+ year old is Hopkins lasting 12 rounds with Joe Calzaghe.
