It's going to go the distance imo.

Jones is a good boxer, even in his old age but Hopkins aint got that big one punch power, to stop him early.

Danny green landed a power shot, and threw like 40 punches afterwards and Jones just avoided/blocked them all.

Shows when Jones concentrates he wont be hit to easily.

I think it will go the distance as well... I even expect Roy to win a few rounds.

Of course it'll go the distance. When was the last time Hopkins knocked anybody out? When De La Hoya did a bit of an acting job a few years ago. Hopkins is way too passive to go for the knockout, so unless Jones does something stupid, or shows that his chin is even more fragile than we though, won't be no knockout.

    Hopkins via boring ass UD.

Both Pavlik and Ornelas have far greater h2h punch resistance than Jones, and both had really shaky moments where they were hurt by Bernard.

Both also have very different styles from and are easier to hit than Jones, but still. Bernard isn't inaccurate. And when he doesn't want to be, he isn't a light hitter.

I beg the difference, IMHO Hopkins will KO Jones late in the fight. If not early, just watch!

Glen Johnson also completely overwhelmed Jones with work rate and never let up... I have always said that it wasn't one shot that put Jones down but accumulation.

    Bad comparison in my opinion.

Is Glen Johnson a single-shot KO hitter??

    Is Danny Green??

Nope. You don't need to be a powerpuncher to KO Jones's corpse.

Hopkins will KO him...how many times now have people said he wasn't going to do something and he then did it. Even when he loses, makes the other guy struggle. When Roy Jones, his ass has hit the canvas or his face is a river of blood.

I hope roy whoop on him but i think bhop gonna win a ud something like 116-112

I'd like to see Hopkins/Ornealas before I decide. I've not seen it.

I just checked the odds for the over on the fight and it's at -135. I guess the odds makers really believe that Hopkins has a great shot of KOing Jones, or the over would've been much higher.
