you know what you might be on to something, you dont know **** about boxing but you are kinda right.

krusher will try to overwhelm hopkins for 12rds. pressure fighters always gave hopkins problems from joe cal to jermain taylor. hopkins might look good for 4 rds. nice counters and lead rights and holding and hitting. but if the krusher fights like he does, with his power he should win the fight. he should stun hopkins and even maybe drop him, hopkins aint know sucka so i see the old man pulling out all the tricks to win the fight and then to survive the fight. the krusher 12 ud 116 to 112.

i just think kovalev will out work him and his power will stun hopkins a few times in the fight maybe worse :-( only way kovalev gases is if he punches himself out, which i hope he does. just hope bhop can pot shot and grab repeat. im looking for lead right hands, counters and jabs from bhop. im looking for to grab and get that head in the way as well, but at the end of the day i dont think it will be enough to beat the krusher.

That's what all hopkins fans are hoping he cheats, potshots and eels out a decision, way to support a fighter. You honestly find that entertaining? Lol hope kovalev ko's him out fast before it turns into a filthy clinch fest.

If Hopkins wins... then this will have been one boring clinchfest. Possible but I think Kovalev finishes him in a mostly dull fight.

this is boxing...if you want to see knock down drag out type stuff, go watch pro wrestling...hopkins will win a boring decision. but that's the excitement of a hopkins fight is that he can still figure out a way to win at the top level at the age of 50.

actually kovalev will be less of a challenge than most realize...he's not very accomplished and he's made to order for hopkins. he better land a lucky punch early, or it will turn into a boxing lesson.

IF Hopkins would fight the way you prefer and like,Hopkins would retired already.
And many other fighters also would have tasted multiple defeats.

And if Kovalev is the real deal,do you honestly think 50years old man is capable of easily beat Kovalev?

If Hopkins goes out there brawling and KO,it would be easily the greatest perfomance in boxing history.

It's rare that boxers could compete in top at 40,nevermind 50.

Hopkins skill level is so amazing, that it allows him compete still, physical attributes have been long gone.

And when you don't have physical attributes anymore, you are forced to go ugly and use every trick in the book and maybe more.

Here are probably couple of posters in their 50's you should go ask them how they feel every morning.or better.wait 40years until you turn 50 and then come back here.

I think older people respect Hopkins more, because they know damn well that the body has changed so much..

Kovalev is the one who got all the pressure, and the fans are scared that Hopkins could pull it off.i don't care if Hopkins fouls, pot shots and eeks out a decision.that alone would tell all about Kovalev skill level,if he is half as good everybody claims.he should KO the old man inside the distance.if not then it's easy to say Hopkins near his prime would eaten this kid alive.if it goes to decision.

I feel the same. Hopkins is too crafty and durable to be stopped but don't think he has enough left to earn a decision.

If Kovalev did stop Hopkins though, I would give him major credit and if he stopped him early then I would be shocked and I'd fully expect Stevenson to run for the hills, have a s.e.x change call himself Annie and start boxing against women just to avoid facing Kovalev.

If Hopkins wins it would also be an incredible achievement. While I think it will be a close fight, a win for his legacy would take him to another level and add to the myth and legend of Hopkins.

I seriously cannot wait for this fight, I'd be happy and a little sad whatever the outcome, I like both of these guys a lot.

Calling Hopkins a cheat is a bit of a joke when you consider that the stuff he does has been in boxing since the beginning. Its about winning not pleasing peoples expectations, which would be stupid as the people who say he is a cheat are the type to be negative about him anyway.

Hopkins is at his best in the first half of the fight so not sure he will be stopped in the first five. Kovalev should stop him at some point.

Once Hopkins realizes he's in there with a skilled man who can hit 3X as hard has he can he'll go into a shell, and reach into his bag of dirty tricks.

Hopkins will hold and hit the kidneys on the side the ref can't see. He'll use his head to try to create cuts. He knows how to lacy a guy. If Kovalev lands a hard but legal body shot, Hopkins has been known to cry foul and fake a low blow. If pushed down, he'll claim an injury. We have seen this before.

I think Hopkins is out of there inside 9 rounds, but I do expect him try something unethical before he either quits, gets TKO'd or has his corner save him.

While his career has been amazing, Hopkins is a convict with racial undertones. You could say he's getting what he deserves.
