I guarantee he won't take the B-Hop fight unless it's at a catchweight. I'm getting pissed off with Hopkins are all these catchweights actually.

Yup. Tie him up when he gets too close. Wait for opportunity. Hit Froch flush. Repeat.

So, go up in weight and put himself at an automatic disadvatage, knowing the WBC probably get stripped of his title or see an "interim" champion appear, to fight against a guy who is supposedly a big name but has never drawn a big crowd by himself, where if he loses he looks like a clown, and if he wins he beats a guy everyone will be calling old and shot and probably have a boring fight which kills his marketability as an entertaining fighter. And if the reported payoff to Adamek was correct, probably make less than he did for the Taylor fight ($700,000). If I was Froch, I'd pass.

Hopkins backed down from fighting Adamek, now he wants to fight Froch at 175 when Froch easily makes 168 and only 'walks around' at 172. There's plenty of good fights for Froch at 168 so why risk losing fighting out his natural weight class?

don't think it will be a good move as no one looks good fighting Hopkins and he still needs to take on the top guys at 168lbs. If he beats Kessler or Bute then I would say yes although even at this age I think Hopkins has too much.

Hopkins can make 168 no problem.

Then it's an even playing field, and the belt is on the line.

Iff Froch doesn't want to take a "rest" fight against a cupcake, and he doesn't want to fight Bute or Andrade, and he wants to earn lots of money in a big PPV, he'll fight Hopkins.

Hopkins will know he can win this against a guy who's over-rated and stylistically on a platter to be gobbled up. He'll move down to 172.

The fight will be like Hopkins vs. Pavlik II in outcome.

Crap fight. Neither man has much to gain from it really. Hopkins beats another man moving up in weight who's at a severe skill disadvantage. While if Froch were to win, it would simply prove that opkins has **** all left in the tank. Froch has LOADS of exciting matchups to make at 168. Hopkins has got 3 choices between Dawson, Adamek and retiring.

Yea, the guy who suggested that Froch's aggressiveness would propel him to victory over Bhop must be on crack or did not watch the Pavlik fight nor the Trinidad fight...Bhop makes aggressive fighters look stupid. :deal
