:deal Hopkins would clown him just like he clowned Shumenov. Buterbiev isn't very good at all. He's basic and clubbing.
I can see it too. If beterbiev just relies on his power to win then old man Popkins wins an easy decision.
That's all Butters has and he doesn't even set up his shots well. He's clubbing and off balance and he telegraphs his shots. Hopkins would make him look foolish.
possibly ,but "awkward" fighters often present a problem for classy fighters, particularly if the awkward fighter is a hard puncher too.
Classy? Hop would feast on any kind of awkwardness. Hop is the master of deception and can get down and dirty if he has to. This wouldn't look like the Kovalev fight because Butters fights nothing like Kovalev.
You're absolutely delusional if you think a 50 year old Hopkins who just took a 12 round very damaging 1 sided beating from Kovalev would beat Beterbiev. Beterbiev is a harder puncher than Kovalev and he is a well schooled boxer.
It wasn't just Kovalev ' s power that kept Hopkins in check it was his ability to maintain distance in the outside from Hopkins to keep him from holding him. Beterbiev has shown no such skill not even jabbing to find his range. Hopkins survived Kovalev ' s onslaught so I don't expect him to crumble as soon as beterbiev lands. I expect a lot of pot-shotting and holding on Hopkins part to neutralize beterbiev 's power to go on to win a one-sided UD.
