I thought it was easy to score. I had it 8-4 Hopkins. Winky's jab wasn't landing and his punches had nothing on them while Hopkins won the inside fighting, landed the harder shots, and just made look Winky somewhat amatuerish.
Just thinking about this fight puts me in a bad mood. Why didn't these two fight at ****ing middleweight????
because Hopkins had already moved up to LHW. Fighting at MW would have meant losing 15lbs of muscle in a short period of time. Not a smart move, and Hopkins is a smart guy
I missed this fight but I didn't miss it. I figured it would be a snoozer.:tired If someone has a link ill watch and score it tonight.
Not at all, I need to score it again but off the top of my head I had Hopkins clearly winning that fight by as many as 3+ rounds. I didn't see it as being close.
I think it was a beautiful exhibition of how you negate your opponents jab and workrate. Hopkins took away all of Winky´s strength and beat him. I like that fight.
116-112 hopkins...was the first time ive seen winky that sluggish although that could be down to the weight
I thought some of the early rounds were pretty close and difficult to score, but Hopkins started to dominate the second half of the fight IMO. I had it 115-113 Hopkins, although some early rounds could have gone either way.
i agree my exact card but i believe i had hopkins winning a clear cut decision somewhere around 116-112 or 117-111
