i dont think he can turn back the clock anymore, i think hes done it one to many times, and personally i think sol can beat him in all areas, as bad as people think he looked over cliff couser, cliff aint the worst fighter and i wouldnt put it past him beating most heavies in oz..
Sol looks good to me....bit of natural talent.....he should beat most aussie fighters and good ol' Col will get beaten...however he wont look bad because of his ring smartz.
agreed has natural talent, and punches very ****n hard, to me col has looked bad the last few times i have watched him, just doesnt have it anymore, but then again he did beat leapai last year so no idea what happened there...
Col only has one version that turns up He does the same for fights he wins as he does for the fights he loses. He drinks, smokes and plays up. I respect everything he does inside the ring as well as out of it. He is a great bloke! He beat Thunder when no-one thought he would. He beat Alex when no-one thought he would. He beat Nathan twice when no-one thought he would. A few Red Bulls and he just might beat Houmona
Both these fights are stylistically bad for Sol and Hoppa, Mensah is the 2nd guy Hoppa has fought with a winning record and he is working as Shane Camerons sparring partner at the moment, forget about the Leapai fight Mensah can box a bit and punch a bit. People think Col is shot because Briggs beat him but over the next year that win will be brought into perspective, Sol gets frustrated when he can't bomb them out and he won't bomb Col out, this is also the first southpaw Sol has fought not to mention he is the most experienced Heavyweight in the southern hemisphere. After march we will see what the pecking order is in the Oz Heavyweights.
Col certainly does like a beer or 20 the night before a fight wonder how he would go is he went to bed early noone knows I guess
Red corner summoned it up perfectly. Col has been doing a bit, not much but a bit, and haumono is so overrated its not funny. Big punch & thats it, nothing else. Should be a very easy win for Col as Sol will gas out before him.
