This isn't about what I expected, this is about other people thinking a really bad fight was really good. Not only wasn't it technical, it wasn't entertaining either. I just don't get how people can cay this was a fight of the year candidate when it was terrible. This fight made Klitschko's last fights look like Gatti-Ward!

I was a loooooooooooong way back, but thought Foley did nothing but back away. He was by far the better skilled fighter, but just didnt do enough IMO.

Certainly didn't deserve the 60-54 on one judges card.

No I agree with that mate, it was closer than that. But he was clearly landing the sharper punches. That may have been hard to see from a fair way back.

Ippy is right regarding Foley, Chan gave him a good hurry up on the night and kept him honest but he fell short of winning this one. Also the Indo may have been busier on the night but it was ineffective. Eadie caught nearly all of it on his gloves, arms and shoulders and countered effectively. The only round he deserved really was the round he knocked Eadie down with a good shot

Angry fight fan I'm with you, a **** poor fight for the heavyweight belt. Bob better retire before he starts trying to feed the ducks on his wallpaper in his room. As far as Hoppa is concerned, can't wait to see who he fights for his 1st defense. Maybe a trilogy with Fitzy. Maybe Ben Edwards for redemption on his 90sec 1st rd KO loss.

I personally think the heavyweight scene in australia is a joke, its time for the sports administrators to say that some of the old boys hang them up imo

Personally it's been a long time since the Heavyweight division has been this strong in Australia.

I think Adam Forsyth will clean a few of this guys up if he stays at heavyweight. I wouldn't be surprised if he drops to cruiserweight though. Speaking of cruisers, I reckon a few of our top cruisers would give most of the heavyweights a good fight. Going off their last fight, I'd pick both Dom Vea and Daniel Ammann to whip Hopoate. The one thing they wouldn't do which for some strange reason Bob did would let him back them into the ropes without making him pay for it.

Yeah Vea & Ammann are more than handy Cruiserweights.
Vea especially due to his naturally bigger frame could cause most of the Heavyweights some problems.
