No hate here for Hoppa, he just isn't a boxer and therefore shouldn't be getting the opportunities he's been getting.

Look at the rest of the Oz HVYweight scene and tell me why Hoppa deserved the chances he's had over some of the guys who've been working their arses off for years.

Yeah, that's right, you know wattam sane, I thought so :yep:yep

What nonsense. He fights who they put in front of him.
If he didn't earn his stripes by taking on a war horse like Mc Call he never will.
    He's been fighting for three & a half years & he's 12-4.
He gets stopped & he comes back, & he's popular not because of his past, but because he puts it on the line every time, against whoever is in front of him.
As for others working their arses off, he's 6 foot & has been fighting at around 108 Kilo's. If you think that is easy for a Tongan, you're way off the pace.
    Take the blinkers off china.

    Hoppa ain't a boxer.

What stripes did he earn by being undermatched with McCall? He came back and wasn't able to beat a well past it Wilson.

He was the Aussie Heavyweight champ - why? Because better fighters than him missed the chances he got, or focussed overseas in an effort to further their careers on the international scene. Hoppa got the best of both worlds and showed he didn't deserve the chance.

As for his weight, get off the grass mate, he was running around in the NRL at 110kgs, and he was 6 foot back then too. Your point? Let me guess, it's hard work for a Tongan to stop eating BBQ'd pig, taro and kumara in order to stay at a healthy weight? :-(

I remember packing down in the second row in my first League scrum after playing several years of Union..... I reached up and grabbed the crotch (pants) of my front rower (as we did in Union)..... and he broke up the scrum..... grabbed me by the Jersey and said "Don't you ever do that again son"

    I never did:blood
