Or be stripped.. Just read it in the newspaper. IMO, no rematch is required. It was a good fight to go and watch and both guys really gave it their all, but at the end of the day Hoppa proved alot of people wrong (including myself) and it should be left as that. Thoughts?
I think hoppa will vacate the aus title to chase a few paydays with american journeyman and B Grade contenders, as he should. As he keeps training his skills will be a bit more finetuned and he could give us some barnburners before he retires. He was retired from footy pretty young and hasnt had a long boxing career so i'd say he has at least 4 years left in him
I agree but saying that he might kill Mirovic in a rematch is ridiculous. I think he knows it would be a different story second time around and doesn't want to take the risk, I think if he does give up the title it disrespects and devalues it.
I hope they meet again, hopefully Bob will take it more seriously this time and clobber Hopoate like he should have done the first time. That's clearly why Hopoate doesn't want to know about it. Kill him, what a joke, Bobs been in with much better fighters and survived just fine.
i think hoppa would beat him again in a rematch, big bob is only getting older, and as long as hoppa keeps training hard, and gain more experience, hes only gonna get better.
Bob is finished. he should have retired after the shane cameron fight. he has nothing else to offer the sport.
Fighting Bob again is a joke. Full respect to Bob but beating him at the age of 120 :rofl and then rematching him is ridiculous - moreso though if Bob pulls it out and beats him. Rematch Ben Edwards - that blot is on your record Hoppa, it is not going away and Edwards would love the chance to prove Hoppa is not capable of bigger and better things. :deal
