i know hoppa is limited, but you've seen the big bombs that hoppa can throw, so i wouldn't exactly say he has zero chance.

i mean it took cameron 8 rounds to ko mirovic and hoppa did a fair job against bob. so he has to have some hope.

Shane did break his hand in the first round in that fight.
Shane is a few levels above both Bob and Hoppa.

    Fair enough, don't agree though.
Hoppa needs to still fight at his own level for a while IMO.
Personally I don't think he'll ever be at Camerons level.

I think Hoppa has proved he aint taking his boxing career lightly..The guy has fought the who's who of the domestic scene.

His record should definetly show even the biggest critic that he aint in the game to make easy pay cheques beating up duds.He has copped some floggings..

You're a hard man to please. You complain about how Aussie fighters fight complete stiffs and how others don't step it up (and rightly so too) yet now claim that Hoppa (at 34 years old) should baby step his way up the rankings instead.

If you were to say the same about Kickett when he went to the US, I'd agree, but Hoppa doesnt have time on his side and I don't blame him if he takes his opportunities now rather than when he's 40.

I should have elaborated.. Hoppa has no future at realistic TOP CLASS match ups. Fighting men of his own calibre is more appropriate . (My reason for agreeing) Bottom line.

No, he will not be at Camerons level..... ever. A confidence booster for Cameron will be the outcome of this bout.

Pecks... Im not here to be pleased mate. :good

    Ability should be irrelevant.

Imagine if Rocky turned down Apollo Creed's challenge. Good luck making 5 sequels with Spider Ricco being the villain. :-(

Agree with this. It's good that Hoppa has the balls to want to fight the better fighters out there but it's no good to be getting blasted out like he did with McCall. Hoppa should stay on the Aussie heavyweight scene where he has done well and earn his living there.
