Horn is a joke

Horn isn't a joke. Who here would give up (not a fact) 10 times more money than before to test themselves against an all time great? I'd jump at the opportunity. Yes it's a mis match but Horn isn't at fault here...Bob Arum is.

 

I'd only care about a pac fight now if he fights a decent opponent, he's no longer a fighter I would watch fight no matter who the opponent is.

 

Horn doesn't even have a notable win. His best win to date is against former 130 pounder 39 year old Ancient Ali Funeka. Arum ain't **** for this one.

 

Do you guys think Pac will fight a prime, relevant welterweight again? I'm starting to think he won't, and he doesn't care about challenging himself anymore. I think Pac and Arum know several guys would hand him a pretty humiliating loss, like Crawford, Brook, or Spence. But it's too bad, because fights with Khan and Thurman are a couple that would be really fun and he'd have a good chance of winning.

 

Pacquiao is just cashing out on a fight in Australia.
Of course Horn is a terrible opponent but he is the home guy and the fight will draw a lot of attention and money in the land down under.

 

This isn't Pac. Pac had his manager go and try to make a fight with Khan, against Arum's wishes. Arum eventually put his foot down, and nixed it, and Pac is back to fighting that scrub Horn in Australia. This is worse than the Algieri match up. At least Algieri had been in with Provodnikov.

This is very poor fight.. But whatever... After the Mayweather fight Arum has done nothing but put Manny's carreer on a hole... I feel like Manny doesnt speak for himself.. he just does whatever Arum and Koncz tell him to... Which sucks

 

Pac is still good just not as good as before. And I agree, the Horn fight is shhiitt. Worst than Floyd/Berto fight. Manny should just retire, he has nothing else to prove.

 

It's been like that for years. I really don't know how he is a Congressman in his country if he can't even speak up on his own career.

 

Horn is a total bum, he is not even well known outside of boxing fans in his home city of Brisbane. This will be Pac's first stoppage win in a long time. For those even comparing this to Mayweather Berto, Berto would clobber Horn and KO him within 3 rounds.

 

Mayweather when he fought Berto was wholly better, and thus expected to face better opponents, than Pacquiao is now. That said, Horn is such a bad fight that it's still a bigger joke of a no-hope opponent.
