10-9. All 3 judges had it the same.

    10-8.5

If only a couple more of Pacs punches had landed I think he would have put Horn down. but he missed alot

When do you see 10-8 rounds with out a knock down??? Not very often or at all...

The other 11 rds were close. The 9th rd was by far the most dominant. If you look at the complexion of the fight you have pay more for that dominance than the other close rds hence the 10-8.

Yes it was a dominating round by Pac, but I scored it 10-9. Never even thought of scoring it 10-8 tbh. Personally, I think the fighter should keep the 9 just for staying on their feet and getting through it.

Boxing scoring is already subjective as it is. I don't like the idea of judges being able to score 10-8 whenever they see fit (without a knockdown or point deducted). This just leaves scorecards even more open to corruption.

10-8. Horn looked dead, ate a lot of clean flush shots, failing to parry or defend, failing to land back with more than one hands' worth of digits, for a much longer duration than most fighters get beaten on badly within a round, legs even shaking the last 20 seconds of it. No problem with 10-9, obviously, but I don't think anyone should have a problem with 10-8, either. There have been plenty more dramatic better examples but I feel that was a 10-8 sort. Maybe I'll rewatch it and see I got too emotional in the moment.

That's not how you score a fight.

Each round is it's own thing, the previous rounds mean ****.

of course you can have 10-8 rounds without a knockdown. 'rare, yes, but it can realistically happen. 'not sure i would score that one 10-8, but it was damn close to it.

but that round.. i put pacquiao, so grossly undersized yet again, right next to henry armstrong. yep, it's official- pacquiao is rubbing shoulders with the great henry armstrong. so let it be written

10-9. No doubt about it. I've seen a lot worse beatings that didn't get a 10-8 score. Horn was not
in trouble, hurt yes, but not staggering around or getting his head snapped back. It was crazy that the referee
came to Horn's corner suggesting that he'd stop the fight. I guess he wasn't getting paid by the same people that paid those judges off.

Pac didn't land nearly enough shots in the round for a 10-8. He was whiffing repeatedly. Yea Horn was hurt bad, but that doesn't make it a 10-8 automatically. Pac has to land a high volume and administer a pillar to post beating, to get 10-8, and he didn't.

Pac's only crystal-clear round and should have been awarded a solid 10-9 for his efforts. No knockdown, therefore no need for the extra point BS.
