Manny Pacquiao set to confirm rematch with Jeff Horn

Manny Pacquiao is on the verge of confirming a rematch with Jeff Horn in Australia with his promoter, Bob Arum, revealing Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman has urged him to stage the fight in Sydney.

"I don't think I'm going to have to go to Manila because I've been talking to Manny and his various representatives and Manny wants the rematch," Arum said.

"What's holding everything up is that there is martial law in the Philippines. We have to get some firm information as to when the Senate will be in recess."

"Once we get that information I am optimistic that in the next two days we can start making all of our plans to hold the fight in Australia," Arum said.

Fuk sydney right off... melb or brizzy to host.

Tho id much prefer horn spence because if pac wins the rematch he wont face any of the deserving elite belt holders in the division and it will be held hostage

Just because Nicole Kidman is saying Sydney doesn't mean that's where it is going to happen.

Apparently Brisbane will get first crack at it. But I don't think there's a venue with a roof in Brisbane big enough, and they could hardly take the risk of holding it at Suncorp late in the year because of the weather.

I'm afraid you'll get Pac-Bradley situation all over again. The reason Pac under performed was because of the cut, see the morales 1. But not to take anything away from
horn whom I thought fight the best way he can by mauling pac with his size and youth.
Looking for Pac to beat him this time around to set up a trilogy.
Not the fights I'm clamouring for really but probably best for both.

So does this mean that Arum's Top Rank finally paid Pac and that Pac finally paid Roach and that he and Roach are on speaking terms again? In any case, he better prepare his face to receive head-butts since Horn isn't going to change his style which worked for him the first time with generous ref assistance.

So how do you propose Pac avoid getting head-butted with ref approval this time around?

That's something he has to work on in the gym with freddy. I'm not well versed on the actual fighting.
I though in recent time Pac has become complacent with his boxing, he will need to get off first and side step ducking away and keep turning horn.
I'm interested to see if he has the stamina to pull this off at his age.

It's wishful thinking and not going to happen, but I wish Pacquiao would just win this fight and retire. Boxing is a cruel, unforgiving sport, and Manny has surely taken a lot of punishment in prizefights and in sparring.

Nothing to fear like there was. Horn will try mauling a tko out of Pac. This will be the only reason Pac will have plenty of opportunities to land the perfect shot.

Will Pac pull the trigger or try winning a Dec ?

He's actually very far from shot. You guys pretending he's shot haven't a CLUE what a shot fighter is. Still on damage control, wtf.

Pac losing doesn't impact your lives so why the excuses ??? I also feel the cuts from the head butts was the reason Pac struggled so badly.

I see different outcome this time, then Pac is so GREAT for beating horn so late bull shyte

"Very far from shot". LOL. Who stole your password? Who is this???

You actually think PAC should keep on fighting??? He is legitimately shot. I gave him one round against Horn.

If PAC has to fight in Australia again he will need a KO just to get a draw. Hopefully they have competent officials this time.
