Round 5 -*There's an air of inevitability about this one now as the fighters come to the centre of the ring, Horn opening proceedings with a brutal body shot. Assis lunges to strike but runs directly into an uppercut as Horn dances away, puts his opponent against the ropes and crumples him with a precision liver shot! Down goes Assis and he wants no more of this one, TKO win for Horn.

Round 4 -*Assis starting to recognise the head movement of Horn and begins to go to the body. Huge right hand by Horn floors Assis! The Brazilian just makes it to his feet before the 8 count before being sat back down immediately, and again he survives the 8 count. Assis now copping some serious punishment as Horn sniffs a finish, digging shots to the liver of Assis. Monster round for the Australian, but you have to be impressed by the toughness of Assis.

Round 3 -*Horn starts aggressively again as he chases that finish, he seems to be aware of the severity of that cut. An unfortunate position for Horn given that if the fight is stopped due to the cut, it will be deemed a no-contest. Nevertheless the Aussie continues to stick and move and starches the Assis with another two hefty straight rights to close out the round.

Round 2* -*Assis comes out with a spring and looks to start landing but a beautiful right hand counter from Horn finds its mark. Horn switches to southpaw stance and jabs with the left, followed by another stinging right hand. Assis is staggered as Horn pounces in search of a finish, causing some more damage. Referee stops the fight momentarily to have the doctor check a cut opened up earlier via a headbutt on Assis, but they've given the thumbs up for it to continue. A big round there for Horn.

Round 1 -*Here we go with our main undercard fight of the night as the fighter clinch early, Assis with a nice right hand to the chin of Horn. Horn moving well as Assis stalks him across the ring, Horn throws a couple of straight rights with lightning speed. Horn the more active fighter so far and he's already created a mouse under the right eye of Assis. Heavy straight right again from Horn to close out a good round for the Australia

Horn looking for a WBO ranking seems to be coming along nicely with Duco. Seems to be a real talent - knocking out a 14-0 fighterin his 8th fight. Also holds a win over Rabah and the only mqn to ko Colomban.t.

Round 4 -*Parker stays busy to start the round, then comes with a scorching straight right hand which snaps Costa Jr's head back and the towering Brazilian goes down like a felled Kauri, this one is over! Dominant KO win for Parker.

Round 3* -*Parker a tidy three punch combo to open the round as Costa Jr pumps the jab to counter. Left-right for Parker as he spins away from the ropes. Costa with a flurry in the corner as he seeks to up his work rate but well defended by Parker, and again he responds with a jarring body shot. Parker moves and catches Costa with a left straight as the bell sounds. One round more for Parker.

Round 2 -*Parker again puts the jab out early then measures the body shots to perfection. Costa Jr can clearly take some punishment as he meanders forward without so much as a grimace. The Brazilian now looks to fire but his punches seem to require a fair wind up and Parker is reading them well. Straight left and a liver shot to close the round for Parker.

Round 1 -*Both fighters looking to establish the jab early, Parker doubles up and follows with a brutal right to the body. Parker sitting down on his punches early as continues to throw in bunches, varying his shots nicely. Costa Jr has eaten some weighty shots already with a nary a response, as more heat is thrown to the body by Parker. A comfortable round for the Kiwi who looks great early, and his trainer Kevin Barry tells him just that.

11:25pm -*And it's that time of the evening, the main event is about to get underway as Joseph Parker strides into the ring. The fighters face off and for once Parker is at virtual eye level with his opponent, the towering Brazilian Costa Jr.
