This video seems to indicate that Pacman won on points. There is a lot of clumsy aggression on Horn's part that I hadn't noticed. Maybe the judges didn't notice that he was missing as much as he was? I thought he was landing those shots and that Pac was missing until I saw this video.

It was clear that Paq won. He landed double the punches lol.

But the problem is that Horn managed to convey the impression that he was actually landing most of those punches that the video shows him missing. Teddy Atlas with his eagle eye could see that from ringside and I thought he was being biased. It turns out that when you watch the video then you realize that he was telling the truth. The kid did get a gift decision.

im willing to bet that most of the people that had horn winning still wouldnt admit they were wrong, even with video proof and punch stat numbers.

Scoring isn't based on impression or emotion though is it? That said a lot of muther****ers fall for it on this forum.

True. But since I mistakenly concluded that Horn had won legitimately and that Atlas was being biased only to have this video reveal the truth-it makes me wonder whether the judges were similarly misled. However, I was watching it on the screen and they had a far closer view. So that becomes less likely in their case.

i dunno, the 117-111 had to have been filled out with premeditation. Regardless, the other two scores if not corruption, then they are clear signs of incompetence.

One would assume that judges don't suffer any type of visual impairment and that they are thoroughly familiar with how to score a fight. If indeed that is so-then corruption becomes the more likely.

It's as Atlas said, you cannot score on feeling. You have to go buy the Queensbury rules. It's clear that none of the judges did that. Even going by logic and math, it's impossible to give it to Horn. Look as how devastated he was by Pac's punches. If Horn's punched did actually connect, we see nothing on Pac's face, demeanor, no hobbling, daziness, nothing in the fight. Nothing. On replay, Horn had maybe 3 solid connections on Pac, and they did nothing to phase Pac. The judges literally had to ignore all the meaningful work and damage to Horn's face, to give Horn every doubt.

I just don't see how that's logically possible.

Btw, this is not even counting the fail job the ref did, with no impact to stop Horn from DQ level fouling. He cut Pac twice in consecutive rounds and did not receive one deduction!

Let me also add that the mere mention of biting Fluid's glove made Bayless stop the fight for over 5 minutes to get to the bottom of it, whether the bite was real or perceived. With Pac's cut's... how does the ref let consecutive cuts happen without a serious word?

What is really disturbing in all this is the obvious total disregard for public opinion concerning such obviously unjust decisions. After all, they know that these visually-recorded fights are meticulously scrutinized by experts as well as knowledgeable fans. Seems like they think that it won't affect monetary gain in the long-run. Otherwise they would cautiously refrain from this type of blatant BS.

Boxing = corruption. It's the last of the banana republics as far as what you could call a sport that's left in first world nations. Chew on that for a minute.

geesuz a guy gets a point just for flicking his glove to the opponent's face and not even connecting? this aint the amateurs. And the vid slows down to extra slow motion on any punch to make it appear like a hard punch? Video is meh. I'll take normal speed over this crap anyday. The guy who made this video to emphasize his agenda might as well be the punch stats dude clicking the button.

I just noticed Pac showboating doing the Ali shuffle in a couple of rounds. LOL

i saw the fight on 320p and it was hard to see the detail. When it was over I felt it was too close for me to call, although I did suspect that they were gonna try to get a rematch somehow.

good fight though, wasn't expecting Horn to give Pac problems at all. He seems to be a level above Jessie Vargas and Christ Algieri, who Pac embarrassed.

If he was just touching Horn why is Horn's face a mess?

    BTW
Whenever Pac doesn't connect it isn't counted or a nothing appears on he screen.
