It was about to be TKO12 like I predicted in my other thread. Would of gone down as the greatest 12th round of all time

The referee needs investigating, not tomorrow, not next week, not next month, but NOW!!

Find out his real name and I'll wager it ends with Crawford.

Yeh I mean how dare he let Crawford repeatedly punch Horn in the face like that. Corruption at its finest.

Horn was still in his cage, he was waiting for Crawford’s fists to break on his jaw then he would pounce

Crawford totally and completely annihilated Horn, there is no question.

My grievance arises due to it being seemingly apparent that the Referee took issue with Jeff from the get go. You could see and feel the disdain he had for his mere presence. Every time he attempted to go anywhere near Crawford, he would take one step forward in anticipation to break it up.

The moment Jeff had Crawford on the ropes and was doubling up on his combinations, you could almost hear the ref's outcry through his heart ''Stop hitting my son''

I can see some truth in this based on Byrds history.

He was the same ref for the Mcgregor Mayweather fight. And he spent the entire pre fight talk making a mockery of McGregor saying something like 'No kicking, no wrestling, we are here to box, I will not tolerate anything other than boxing' etc or somesh*t like that. It was disrespectful. Conor got his boxing licence and put in the training just like everyone one else in the boxing world has. And in this fight he was definitely staying on top of not letting Jeff get away with anything.

With that being said, I have absolutely no problem with the way Byrd reffed this fight. Was it stopped a little bit early? Possibly. But Jeff wasn't going to win the fight. Not even close. I didn't even give him a punches chance at that point.

What I'm saying is Byrd does have a history of favoring traditional/boring fighters. He doesn't like clinches or boxers fighting out of clinches (Although ill admit that can be debated) he wants fights squared up at all times. And there is nothing wrong with that, its just his style and fighters should be able to adapt to cleaner conditions when need be.

He's respected for a reason. He just needs to chill on being a little too involved.

Didn’t like refs work today. Crawford didn’t need that. Although Horn deserves that for judging in Brisbane.
