Exactly the way I saw it, Horn imposed his will on Manny in more rounds then Pacquiao controlled. Whether Pac was outlanding him or not (which is debatable) Horn controlled the majority of the fight, he just did. I also thought Horn landed a hell of a lot more then he was given credit for. I'm a Pacquiao fan, but he lost this very close fight.

No point trying to convince the casuals that boxing is corrupt as hell and the fighters are merely puppets on a string, floyd was very smart to leave arum and run his own show so to speak. PAC won the boxing match, horn won the rugby match, and the footy fans & casuals lapt it up. PAC will win the rematch like he did the first fight, this time it will be official.

7-5 each or a draw is good score, the problem is that Horn fought very very dirty and the referee did nothing about it,two intentional headbutts and so on.When you are fighting away it seems like the ref and judges are always against you.

No need to tell me that ref and judges were neutral please, they were obviously influenced by the home crowd or just paid.
Pac is way past it but can still easily outbox most of these guys at 147,problem is Horn got away with everything in this fight, just too dirty and big. Also the 117-111 score from one of the judges was pathetic, typical home decision.

'Could have gone either way' . Yeh i guess thats a cool saying but the problem is that usually it goes to the home fighter if not always. So i guess thats that, you get to organize the match and that gives you the opportunity to rob the away fighter somehow sadly.

I personally thought PAC won 7-5. It was a close fight, hats off to Horn.

In saying that, if a boxing governing body re-scores a fight differently to the original outcome, a precedent is set for all perceived bogus decisions which would mean the flood gates are opened for all boxing organisations.

    Food for thought.

Shoot me down - I didnt give a crap about this fight, and I'm no expert - but i scored this 116-113 to horn (yes, one drawn round cause i couldnt decide). As far as i understand, you dont score boxing based on raw stats, on unscorable behaviour, on repuatations. You score it round by round.

...and ill add - Im assuming the judges have to simply accept the refs calls. I didnt see anything particularly unusual in the refs calls. Headbutt was unintentional. Nothing else unusual of note, as i saw it at least. Horn more agressive, bigger, but the pacman busted some physical throwdowns as well. Ref didnt call that, he was consistent. Judges have to call it as they see it? Ref doesnt deduct a point = no point deducted.

    ??nothing unusual?
Horn holding down's pac head with his own and then uppercutting.. holding and punching several times throughout the fight, lots of headlocks, grappling punching behind the neck/head when pac's head was down etc etc

when i did a quick view of the fight horn averaged around 10+ fouls. geez

Ref didnt call it, judges cant judge it. Dont blame the judges. And the grappling etc in this fight hasnt got anything on your average heavyweight fight ... go watch a fury or klitcho fight or four. Those are bad. This one? Nothing in it, really

I scored it a draw, but could have given it to Pac by 2 rds or Horn by 1 max.

I'm not sure why they bothered to re-score this fight, as surely the only card most people had issue with was the 117-111.

I struggle to see how you couldnt have given it to horn by at least 2 rounds. His face was a mess afterwards, but looking at it round by round, horn got the better of this fight.
