im a big stevenson fan and have seen many of his fights live, including tonight against fonfara....and i must say a horrible performance...dont know if he was weight drained or just a bad training camp(my guess is a combination of falling in love with his own power and ppl around him telling him how good he is...) but tonights fight was garbageworst stevenson performance ever(even when compared to stevenson -boone 1 .....

fonfara kept putting on pressure and stevenson had no answer once fonfara got close...stevensons outside game is good, but he needs to work on his inside game...

he said he was not tired but hurt his hand in the second round....dont know if its true but i noticed in the 7th round he threw only 1 left hand...i told my frined at the time either he hurt his arm or he is just gassed...but fr the whole round he just ran and got hit..lol..

if stevenson wants to keep that belt...he better step up his game... i notice this with alo of boxers, that when they think their opponent is a hard fight, they train extra hard and come prepared for war(fonfara)...but when they hink they have all the advantages in the world and it will be an easy fight...they seem to take things lightly and dont give 100% in training leaving them far from 100% in the fight (stevesnon)...

stevesons best performance imo in against cloud, he dominated, showed he had good boxing iq and rigmanship...he really schooled cloud...but he thought cloud to be a much better fight than fonfara, so he took the fight seriously....if stevenson wants to keep his belt in the next fight...he better start taking every opponent more seriously and work on his inside game(which right now is close to none)
