Canelo got buzzed by small Jose Cotto and GGG made him do the chicken dance in sparring so I wouldn't say he has an iron chin. It's too early to say how good his chin really is.

Williams and Margarito have long thin necks and had granite chins until they got stopped.

 

In the heavyweights, i think that more than the neck, it is important the head size: Price, for example, seems to have a slightly little head for his size; so does Wilder; but these are only speculations based on the fact of the opposing force to the deceleration; what really makes the difference, is what happens inside the head during the deceleration; but surely a trained neck can help to absorb energy, just look at how well it worked with holyfield, that had a relatively long neck.
