Lara’s skillset is awesome and he’s sharper than a Ricans box cutter. Still I think Hurd is physical dynamo at 154 and his determination alone is going to take its toll on EL at some point late in the fight.

I wasn’t necessarily shocked it was just intresting the way Hurd was able to successfully stalk him and essentially cut off the ring in a somewhat unorthodox pattern. I need to rewatch it but I recall being impressed by Hurds relentless pursuit delivered with a unique sense of calmness.

I feel like a big part of Trout being stopped was him throwing too many punches to try and gain the respect of Hurd. He was landing flush shots but Hurd just kept going forward and once Trout gassed it was over.

Moving forward whilst having a guy with Trouts pop mostly landing on the back foot didn’t help his case either.

This might end up looking like Cotto/Margo I

Lara is always in great shape and hasn't been in any hard fights for a while. He's going to come in this fight very fresh despite his age. Lara is too experienced to let his soft opposition of late hinder his highest potential by getting too comfortable with easy fights. You're going to see a very good version of Lara in this fight.

Shouldn’t you be in a southern Florida bathhouse receiving “services” at this time at night instead of taking up good bandwidth posting vids of lemmings commiting suicide.

Interesting match up. Nobody knows how it's going to play out.
All I know is Hurd looks like a full 2 weight class bigger and he has a full 12 rounds to get the job done.
Sticking with Hurd by hard decision.

You could very well be right sir, I just think Hurd will find an opportunity and capitalize.

He’s sorta built like a prime Allen Iverson lanky, strappy and surprisingly resilient.

The only reason Trout lost is because he went all out going for a KO, and dominated Hurd so thoroughly for the first 7, he worn himself out. Basically he gassed himself out beating Hurd's head in, Lara paces himself far better, is more elusive, fight when he wants to fight, and hits harder than Trout, if Hurd forces the pace, he won't see the final bell.

They are not actually committing "suicide" in that video; they're being nudged off the cliff and in effect mass-murdered (lemmings can in fact swim, but can not survive falls at great heights) by the filmmakers.

That film - commissioned by Mr. Walt Disney and released under his name - then perpetuated the now-widespread myth that lemmings will blindly follow one another off the edge of a cliff to plummet into their collective doom. They don't. It was just some cruel unscrupulous humans wanting to make shit up to "spice up" a nature documentary and make it more interesting. :nusenuse:
