    Hello

I am not as newbie as it seems to look, my nick shows that i am former MyStyle and Master, two times banned.I promise to improve me behavior.

I got a serious thought about Wlad and Vitali situation.Wlad has got now several belts, Vit only one, but probably the most important.

Vit was on 4 years break after Williams fight, because of his permanent injuries Is it possible that he would have got the belts that Wlad won?

I estimate, that Vit missed about 10 fights during his break.that would be probably about 50 mln euros in paychecks:):) But he lost his best years, he could beat all guys Wlad fought that time, for sure.

Being inactive/retired during your physical prime and one day getting into the HOF is basically unheard of.

If he did not retire some bum probably would of caused him another injury so he did a right thing.

    I agree with you..
If Vitali didnt have to sit out with that injury he could have had Wlad's position.. Vitali is also more fan friendly IMO..

basiclly this....:deal:deal..vitali always seems to be the klitschko haters fav out of the 2 because of the chin..but everyone knows wlad is the more talented one...both will get into the hall of fame..but atgs???wlad is on his way to being top 10 atg but the 4 years vitali missed and esp it being his prime its be a hard ask from him

He was forced to walk away during his prime. kind of rough, but in reality it didn't affect him much, he's going into the Hall but whatever chance he had of unseating Lewis was lost during that downtime.

True, but I think without the layoff Vit would have probably gone down as much greater and would have secured a much more solid legacy. His chin, heart and toughness coupled with the size power and skill(though his power and skill not as great as his bros) would have put him down as greater than Wlad IMO.

    this...^

I think if Vitali didn't have to retire due to injuries he would definitely be in Wlad's position right now, but more dominate and respected, but it is what it is. And that's also part of having a two-headed heavyweight monster. The KBro's have to divide up their opponents, which actually hurts both of their resumes unfortunately...

Wlad is the more talented, skilled boxer...

Vitali is the tougher, meaning fighter...

I think Vitali smokes Adamek, then Haye, then maybe one more voluntary defense against perhaps Chambers or Potvetkin or Dimitrenko and then retires a surefire first ballot HOFer and a top 12 ATG at HW.

Vitali would be Undisputed Champion, with Ring, WBC, IBF, WBO & WBA belts, if not for his unfortunate 4 year layoff.

Even better....... Adamek in Sept, Haye in December, Dimitrenko in March, then a rematch with a hopefully better conditioned Solis with two more wins on his resume.

All wins by KO, cementing him in the top 12 for sure on all the sportswriters ATGs list.

    Whoa! No sir.

TKO 10 Adamek, KO 3 Haye, and TKO 8 Povetkin is not enough to get him to top 12 all time at heavy.

Louis, Ali, Johnson, Dempsey, Marciano, Foreman, Holmes, Sullivan, Jeffries, Tyson, Wills, Tunney, Frazier, Lewis, Langford, Charles, and Wladimir Klitschko would all still rank ahead of him easy. Might have even forgotten a couple.
